A downloadable game for Windows

Git Ev

Git Ev is a game where you try to return home from an alien planet. The only way to achieve this is by using the common bond shared by all living beings: language. Your goal is to observe the living city, decipher their language, and find out how to reach home with the help of the locals.

Theme Fit

In this Jam, we approached the theme of “connection” in an abstract way by placing language at the center. Language is the most fundamental tool that connects people—or in this game, aliens—to one another. We wanted the player to feel that language is not only a means of communication but also a way of forming bonds.

Language is the gateway of the mind and a bridge that connects us to other human beings.” – Kilroy J. Oldster

About

Git Ev was developed in 72 hours for MağaraJam25 and got First Place over 400+ games.

In this game, we aimed to create a living and complex city.

We wanted to reflect the feeling of being in a foreign country, trying to understand people while knowing only a handful of words in their language.
